Twin County United Way Day of Caring 2017
Who:
More than 300 volunteers have signed up to participate in Twin County United WayÂ’s annual Day of Caring, a community-wide day of service for local nonprofits.
Day of Caring presenting sponsor is Regence BlueShield of Idaho. Team sponsors are P1FCU and Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories. T-shirt sponsor is ArtBeat.
Why:
Day of Caring brings together local businesses, employees and community groups to provide a half-day of volunteer service. Volunteers will participate in variety of meaningful, hands-on projects for 17 local nonprofits.
When:
Friday, May 12, 2017
8:30 a.m. to noon: Onsite volunteer service (List of locations available)
Noon: Volunteer thank you lunch with pizza from FazzariÂ’s!
Where:
The kick-off event takes place at the Lewiston Community Center (1424 Main Street, Lewiston), parking lot is in back, enter from G Street.
After kick-off, volunteers will head to more than 25 project sites (full list available) and then return to the Community Center for a volunteer thank you lunch.
