12Th Annual Twin County United Way Golf Invitational
Who:
More than 100 golfers will participate in the Golf Invitational, a four-person scramble benefiting local kindergarten readiness efforts. Sponsors include Red Lion Hotel, P1FCU, Inland Cellular, St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Washington Trust Bank, Advanced Benefits, Idaho Beverages – Pepsi, JEDA Media Group, Stonebraker McQuary and additional tee sponsors.
Why:
The Golf Invitational raises funds for the Twin County United Way’s Kindergarten Boot Camp, a summer kindergarten readiness program that teaches essential skills kids need to be ready for school. In additional to raising funds, the United Way hopes to raise awareness about the importance of early childhood education and helping all children, regardless of circumstances, have a chance to succeed at school.
