Twin County United Way’s 22nd Annual Day of Caring is this Friday, May 11

Twin County United Way Day of Caring 2018
Who:
More than 400 have signed up to participate in Twin County United Way’s annual Day of Caring, a day of volunteer service for local nonprofits and the community.
Day of Caring presenting sponsor is Regence BlueShield of Idaho. Team sponsor is P1FCU. T-shirt sponsor is ArtBeat. And, lunch sponsor is Fazzari’s Finest.
Why:
Day of Caring brings together local businesses, employees and community groups to provide a half-day of volunteer service. Volunteers will participate in more than 30 hands-on projects.
With the record number of volunteers turning out for the 22nd annual event, local nonprofits can still request volunteers by calling the United Way office at (208) 743-6594.
When:
Friday, May 11, 2018
- 8 a.m.: Kick-off event
- 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.: Onsite volunteer service (A full list of locations will be available on Friday.)
- Noon: Volunteer thank you lunch with pizza from Fazzari’s!
Where:
The kick-off event takes place at the Lewiston Community Center (1424 Main Street, Lewiston), parking lot is in back, enter from G Street.
After kick-off, volunteers will head to more than 30 project sites (full list available) and then return to the Community Center for a volunteer thank you lunch.
