Suzanne Johnson, Chief Executive Officer

Suzanne Johnson is the Chief Executive Officer for the Twin County United Way. Suzanne attended Boise State University (BSU) and earned an English degree in 2002. She planned on going into an MFA program after graduation, but that summer she took a job at a camp for people with disabilities. It changed the trajectory of her life because she instantly loved the work and knew she was meant to continue on in the human services field which is exactly what she did. She eventually branched out into non-profit management where she has continued to serve for the past 15 plus years. She went back to BSU and got her MBA in 2018.

She is the proud wife of her husband Brandon who is a teacher at Jenifer Junior High and loving mother to her son Noah and her stepson Tanner. Her passion for service and her dedication to Noah led her to start a non-profit, The Green Apple Project, which focuses on autism awareness and support in the Lewis-Clark Valley. She finds joy and satisfaction in community engagement, service, and fundraising. She sees the Twin County United Way CEO position as a perfect fit. She is excited to jump in and serve our community.
