Income / Financial Stability
Together, we can fight poverty and help families and individuals achieve financial independence. Our goal is to reduce the number of households struggling financially and live in a community where people have access to safe and affordable housing. The Twin County United Way awards grants from the Community Fund for income programs that:
- Provide education and support to better manage income, savings and assets
- Teach skills to obtain (and keep) jobs that provide livable wages
- Increase safe and affordable housing options
- Provide homelessness prevention and assistance to homeless families and individuals
For the 2020-2021 grant cycle, the Twin County United Way places a priority on funding programs that are working to reduce homelessness and improve the financial stability of struggling households.
