Emergency Cooling Centers Open in Moscow, Pullman & Lewiston
The doors of CrossPoint Alliance Church are now open for anyone in the LC Valley looking for a place to cool off this week.
CrossPoint’s café area is open 9 AM-5 PM for the next several days. According to church staff, making their church available for those who need it, is a way to show residents they care.
“We know that it’s really intense outside, so we just want to offer a place that has air conditioning and we’ve got bottled water and snacks that are welcome to whoever wants to come in and use our facility,” said Carly Klappenbauch. “And we’ve wanted to do that for a long time just be generous with the place that we have and open it up to our community.”
Crosspoint Alliance Church is located at 1330 Powers Avenue in Lewiston. If you’d like more information you can call 208-743-3000.
