9^TH Annual Twin County United Way Golf Invitational Tees Up to Help Children Prepare for Kindergarten

What: 9^Th Annual Twin County United Way Golf Invitational presented by Clearwater Paper

Who: The Golf Invitational is Twin County United Way’s annual golf tournament which raises funds for the United Way’s Children’s Project.  In addition to the presenting sponsor Clearwater Paper, sponsors include Red Lion Hotel, Inland Cellular, P1FCU, Regence BlueShield of Idaho, JEDA Media Group, Idaho Beverages, Clearwater River Casino, St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Excel Transport and additional tee sponsors.   

Why: The Golf Invitational raises funds for the Children’s Project.  The Twin County United Way’s Children’s Project is a six-week, summer kindergarten readiness program that teaches essential skills kids need to be ready for school.  In additional to raising funds, the United Way hopes to raise awareness about the importance of early childhood education and helping all children, regardless of circumstances, have a chance to succeed at school.
