2021-2022 Community Fund Grants

Twin County United Way 2021-2022 Community Fund Grants

Twin County United Way (TCUW) will be accepting application for grants from our Community Fund. Due to Covid-19 we decided to do another one year grant cycle. TCUW will accept statements of intent beginning Monday, Feb. 1st for the 2021-2022 funding cycle.
We invite 501(c)(3) organizations in Nez Perce County (Idaho) and Asotin County (Washington) interested in applying for funds from Twin County United Way to submit a Statement of Intent.  The Statement of Intent is due Friday, Feb. 12th at 5pm.
The grant process is electronic, and the same format as last year. The nonprofit site provided by e-CImpact can be accessed here. Current partner nonprofits will log in using the same email address as last time and the password: pwd123. Once logged in, please double check your information and make any changes needed. You can also add users at this time. If you are unsure of your login information please contact Melody Salazar at admin@tcuw.org.
Attached here: TCUW-Funding-Areas_2021-2022 is a description of each of our funding areas – education, income and health – and the essential components of each area.  To apply, the program being considered will need to include at least one essential component. Nonprofit organizations may apply for grants to fund multiple programs, but a Statement of Intent is required for each program.
The United Way focuses on what is needed most in our community and what is working locally to address these needs. Priorities for funding are determined from a combination of factors including: the results of community needs assessments conducted by Twin County United Way and other organizations; research by the United Way and others on issues impacting education, income and health; partner nonprofit input and available data. We also have specific impact goals and place a priority on funding programs that will help us achieve these goals.
Submitting a Statement of Intent is the first step in securing a grant from the United Way.  Other subsequent steps include submitting the application and presenting a program overview and answering questions about the program to a grant panel. Attached is an overview of the steps and important dates.
Please review the resource page once you have logged into the software and review the training manual.
Thank you for considering partnering with your local Twin County United Way to fight for the health, education and financial stability of every person in Asotin and Nez Perce counties.
