5th annual ‘4 Hour Food Drive’ announcing four nonprofits rising to the challenge.

LEWISTON— On Saturday, June 16th, four nonprofit organizations will participate in an annual food drive at Rosauer’s in Lewiston. The 5th Annual ‘4 Hour Food Drive’ will host nonprofit organizations who applied to participate in the food drive which also results in potential advertising winnings from IdaVend Broadcasting and its radio properties, The Outlaw 106.9, KRLC Hometown Radio 1350 and Y-105.

Participating nonprofits include: Daughters of the Nile, Malac Temple No. 55 (10 a.m. to 11 a.m.), Family Promise of the Lewis-Clark Valley (11 a.m. to Noon), Life Choices Clinic (Noon to 1 p.m.), and Monarch Academy (1 p.m. to 2 p.m.).

These four nonprofits will work an hour each to gather as many donations as possible on behalf of their group. The organization that brings in the most food will be awarded with $2,000 in advertising for their organization, second will be awarded with $1,500, while the third and fourth place will be awarded with a ‘Live broadcast’ to be used at an event of their choosing.

All donations raised will go to the St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank and the Idaho Food Bank. Donations of non-perishable foods, toiletries, and money are encouraged.
